When Elon Musk tweeted “if I die under mysterious circumstances, it’s been nice knowing you,” a Muslim named Muhammad replied inviting him to recognize the Creator before his last heartbeat. Elon’s response stunned many: “I’m okay with going to hell if that is indeed my destination, since the vast majority of all humans ever born will be there.” This exchange opened the door to one of the most important conversations any human being can have — about death, purpose, and what comes after.
What Elon Musk Probably Does Not Know About Islam
Elon attended an Anglican Sunday school and a Jewish preschool as a child, and read the Bible — but his understanding of religion is clearly shaped by Christianity’s contradictions rather than Islam’s clarity. He concluded that science and religion cannot coexist, likely because of the historical conflict between the Church and scientists in Europe. Yet if he studied Islamic history even briefly, he would discover that the Islamic civilization produced many of the world’s greatest scientists and inventors precisely because Islam never created a conflict between faith and knowledge.
“Elon Musk said science and religion probably can’t coexist. But when Islam was a superpower, Muslim scientists led the world. They built the astrolabe, charted the stars, and advanced mathematics. There was never a conflict between Islam and science — that was a problem of man-made religions, not divine revelation.”
The Quran’s Challenge on Pain Receptors
The Quran states in Chapter 4, Verse 56 that those driven into the Fire will have their skins replaced with fresh skins each time they are roasted through “so they may taste the punishment.” Modern science only recently discovered that pain receptors are located in the skin, and that third-degree burns destroy sensation. How did Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), living in a desert 1400 years ago, know about pain receptors in the skin? This is one of many scientific signs in the Quran that point to its divine origin.
“Every chapter of the Quran except one begins with ‘In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.’ God is more merciful to His servants than a mother is to her child. But can you imagine creating a robot that refuses to fulfill its purpose? Would you not have the right to do with it as you please?”
A Direct Message to Elon Musk and Every Viewer
- The first miracle of Jesus in the Quran is not turning water into wine at a party — it is defending his mother’s honor from the cradle as a baby, a far more dignified portrait of a mighty prophet
- The person who had everything in this life but rejected God will be dipped into Hellfire for a split second and asked “did you experience anything good?” — and will say no
- Being warned about Hellfire is an act of love, not hostility — just as you would thank someone who warned you about danger or pulled you from a burning building
- The homework is simple: ask the Creator of the heavens and earth — guide me, guide me, guide me — and pick up a free copy of the Quran to begin your search for truth
