LISTEN TO THIS Hollywood Actor Recite the Quran after HE TRIED SO HARD TO DISPROVE ISLAM

Drew Davis has been a professional Hollywood actor since the age of six, working alongside Forest Whitaker, Andy Garcia, and appearing in Disney productions, HBO shows, and Oprah projects. Yet at 19 years old, instead of following the path of drugs, alcohol, and self-destruction that claims so many child stars, he found something far greater — Islam. His story of searching for purpose and discovering the Quran is a beacon of hope for every young person trapped in the emptiness of fame and materialism.

A Hollywood Child Star’s Search for God

Growing up in the entertainment industry, Drew watched countless peers fall into the trap of maximizing pleasure the moment they turned 18 and gained access to their trust funds. But when a friend asked him a simple question — “What do you believe about God?” — it set him on a journey that would change everything. He went from atheism to agnosticism, and then a sincere, open-minded investigation led him directly to Islam. The oldest fragments of the Quran, discovered in Birmingham and dated over 1,300 years old, confirmed for him what Muslims have always known: this book has been preserved exactly as it was revealed.

When I really sit in my room and I’m alone and I’m like, God are you there — anybody who is sincerely looking for the truth and nothing else but the truth, the only answer you could come upon is Islam.

Why Islam Over Everything Else

  • Drew tried so hard to disprove Islam before accepting it, but the evidence kept pointing him toward its truth
  • The connection with the Creator through prayer — putting your head on the ground and speaking directly to God — was something he never knew was possible as an atheist
  • His time alone in Indonesia gave him space to reflect and realize how much his life would be enriched with purpose, meaning, and a genuine connection with God
  • Unlike the Hollywood lifestyle that leaves a void no amount of fame or money can fill, Islam provided real answers to life’s deepest questions

A Message to Justin Bieber and Every Young Star

Drew’s advice to other child actors and celebrities searching for meaning is profound in its simplicity: understand that you do not know when you will die, and let that reality drive you to search for purpose. If you already believe in God, ask Him to guide you. If you do not believe, be sincere and open-minded enough to investigate. The void that drives people to drugs, alcohol, and self-destruction can only be filled by the Creator who made you — and Islam is the roadmap to that connection.

We don’t know when we die, and we don’t live our lives like that. Once you conceptualize that you could not be here tomorrow, you need to figure out how to spend the time you have — and that time should be spent searching for purpose.
