Hajj: The Fifth Pillar of Islam

The 5 pillars of Islam are simple, logical, and rational: to accept that there’s no true God except Allah the Creator and Muhammad is His messenger and establish prayer with Allah 5 times a day; zakat: charity by the person if they have a certain amount of wealth to give back 2.5% to the poor; fasting in Ramadhan: like a training camp for Muslims to strengthen their manners and renew their faith for the rest of the year; and Hajj: for the Muslim who is able to financially able to make the pilgrimage to the city of Mecca in order to answer God’s call.
