Brother Hamza Tzortzis cries as he explains that his parents are not Muslims.

Don’t Underestimate the Blessing

For those born into Muslim families, it can be easy to take the blessing of Islam for granted. But for converts whose parents are not Muslim, the reality is starkly different — they cannot even pray for their loved ones after death if they pass away without faith. This heartfelt reminder urges every Muslim to recognize the enormous gift of guidance and to act upon it before it is too late.

The Blessing You May Be Overlooking

Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala has given every Muslim something that no amount of money, status, or worldly comfort can replace: eligibility for Jannah (Paradise). Many born Muslims go through life without appreciating the magnitude of this blessing. Meanwhile, those who embraced Islam later in life understand its true weight — because they know what it feels like to search for truth without having it handed to them.

“If you count the favors of Allah, you could never enumerate them.” — The gift of Islam is the greatest of all blessings, and recognizing it is the first step toward living a purposeful life of gratitude.

Do Not Wait Until It Is Too Late

One of the greatest regrets a person can carry is the missed opportunity to share Islam with loved ones. The speaker shares his own painful experience of losing his grandfather before being able to give him dawah. That window of opportunity closed permanently. Whether it is your parents, grandparents, neighbors, or coworkers — the time to share the message of truth is now, not tomorrow.

“Amazing is the situation of the believer: when something good happens, he is thankful, and that is good for him. When something bad happens, he is patient, and that is good for him too.” — Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him)

Breaking Free from Excuses

  • There is no true power except the power of Allah — politics, media, and worldly obstacles are not valid excuses for inaction
  • By 2040, depression is projected to be one of the leading causes of suffering worldwide — Islam offers the spiritual cure people desperately need
  • Muslims are people of hope and trust in Allah, which means any goal is achievable by His will
  • Empower yourself through knowledge, dawah, and sincere worship — every Muslim has the ability to make a difference

The blessing of Islam is not something to take lightly. It is the key to eternal success, inner peace, and a life of meaning. Appreciate it, act upon it, and share it with those around you — because the window of opportunity does not stay open forever.
