Calling Upon Allah’s Beautiful Names
In moments of despair, the believer calls upon Allah by His most beautiful attributes:
- O Compassionate, O Merciful, for Your favor cannot be repaid
- O Forbearing, O Generous, whose patience with His servants never ends
- O Hearer, O Responsive, who never turns away a sincere call
- O Creator of the seven mighty heavens, whose power overcomes all difficulty
“O my Lord, I ask you for forgiveness. Forgive my sin and forgive me. O God of the universe, O my helper and savior, O Master of creation on the Day of Resurrection.”
