ANTl-MUSLIM WAR CRlMlNAL SONG GOES VIRAL (THIS IS EVlL!) – THE EVlL EYE

An alarming trend is unfolding as an anti-Muslim song glorifying war crimes has gone viral on YouTube, racking up millions of views with lyrics that openly celebrate genocide against Bosnian Muslims. This is not ancient history — the Bosnian genocide was the worst atrocity in Europe since World War II, and the hatred that fueled it is being repackaged for a new generation. As Muslims and people of conscience, we must confront this rising tide of Islamophobia with truth, awareness, and unwavering faith.

A Song of Hatred That Should Alarm the World

The lyrics are chilling: boasting about growing up hating Muslims, praising convicted war criminals as heroes, and threatening to drive Muslims into extinction. A newer version doubles down, with lines like “my dad is a war criminal — you can try to convict him, no one has the balls to take him to court.” Imagine if these same words targeted any other community — the outrage would be immediate and universal. Yet when it targets Muslims, platforms allow it to spread unchecked. This double standard reveals the depth of dehumanization that Islam and its followers continue to face worldwide.

“They only persecuted and killed them for no other reason but because they say our Lord is Allah.” This verse from the Quran captures the timeless reality that the hatred directed at Muslims — whether in Bosnia, Palestine, Kashmir, or Burma — is rooted in hostility toward Islam itself, not politics or territory.

The Pattern of Dehumanization

  • No de-radicalization: After Nazi Germany, there was denazification. After the Bosnian genocide, the same hateful rhetoric was never dismantled — it simply moved to social media.
  • War criminals rebranded as heroes: Convicted genocidal figures are now being taught as national heroes in school curricula, poisoning the minds of children.
  • Nationalism replacing theology: Songs claim “the Serbian God sits in the Serbian sky,” replacing universal faith with ethnic supremacy — an ideology that mirrors the darkest chapters of European history.
  • A global pattern against Muslims: From Iraq to Afghanistan, Palestine to Burma, the common thread is that Muslim lives are treated as expendable, their suffering debatable rather than condemnable.
  • Double standards in media: No one holds a debate asking whether Russia’s attack on Ukraine was “justified,” yet the slaughter of Muslims is routinely framed as a topic for discussion.

The Evil Eye, Spiritual Protection, and Standing Firm

In the midst of confronting external hatred, Islam also calls believers to guard against spiritual harm. The concept of the evil eye is a real and well-documented teaching in the faith — the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) affirmed its reality and prescribed daily remembrance of Allah as protection. In an age where everyone broadcasts their lives on social media, the risk of the evil eye has increased significantly. Spiritual self-care through adhkar (daily supplications) is not optional but essential for every Muslim, whether in the public eye or not. This inner spiritual justice — protecting your heart and household — is inseparable from the outer justice of standing against hatred and oppression.

Islam Is the Solution, Not the Problem

“If you want that brotherhood, become a Muslim. We have people from Kurdistan, Pakistan, Bosnia, Chicago, China — all united. You do not have to pay tens of thousands of dollars to join a network of high-value individuals when you could simply embrace Islam and find that worldwide brotherhood for free.”

  • Islam transcends nationalism: While ethno-supremacists build walls, Islam tears them down. A Serbian convert to Islam featured in The Deen Show proved that faith overcomes the most entrenched hatred.
  • Muslims protect, not destroy: During the Bosnian war, over 1,000 mosques were demolished or damaged. Bosnian Muslims, guided by Islamic principles, protected churches. The first Caliph Abu Bakr commanded Muslim armies never to harm women, children, or places of worship.
  • The world is waking up: Non-Muslims are stopping Muslims on the street to say they have seen through the propaganda. The truth about Islam — its mercy, its justice, its moral clarity — is reaching hearts despite every effort to suppress it.
  • Education is our weapon: Parents must teach their children real history — Bosnia, Kashmir, Palestine, the Sykes-Picot treaty, the Berlin Conference — because the mainstream education system will not. Critical thinking and historical awareness are the shields against the next wave of Islamophobia.

The viral spread of a song celebrating genocide is a warning sign that must not be ignored. But for those grounded in faith, the response is clear: speak the truth, protect your spiritual well-being from the evil eye and all forms of harm, educate your families, and stand united against Islamophobia and injustice. Islam has always been the path of peace, justice, and mercy — and no hateful song can change that reality.
