Former Christian Preacher on ISLAM

A former Christian preacher who began studying for the ministry at age 10 and wrote his Bible college thesis at age 15 titled “Jesus Christ is Not God” shares how his lifelong quest for truth led him from Christianity to Islam. His journey reveals the profound alignment between the original teachings of the Bible and the core message of the Quran — that there is only One God worthy of worship, and He never became a man.

352 Scriptures That Contradict the Trinity

From his earliest years in ministry, the concept of the Trinity never made sense. There are 352 scriptures in the Bible that contradict the doctrine of the Trinity, and the word “Trinity” itself does not appear anywhere from Genesis to Revelation. The Old Testament’s first commandment — “Thou shalt have no other gods before Me” — directly contradicts the practice of praying to Jesus, displaying his image in churches, and treating him as God alongside the Creator.

“How could the Creator be compared to the creation? All my life I believed firmly what the Old Testament teaches: ‘Thou shalt have no other gods before Me.’ If God is jealous and we’re singing about Jesus, there’s something wrong with the story.”

How Islam Fulfills What the Bible Originally Taught

  • Pure monotheism — Islam teaches the same Oneness of God that the Old Testament commands and that Jesus himself practiced
  • The Ten Commandments in Islam — Muslims follow the boundaries established by God more strictly than many Christian denominations, which claim Jesus “ended the law”
  • Divine revelation preserved — While the Bible has undergone canonization and alteration, the Quran remains the unchanged, verbatim speech of Allah as it was revealed
  • Knowledge requires implementation — Islam teaches that knowing the truth is useless without practicing it, unlike the concept of “grace” that excuses disobedience

“Islam answered all of my questions. In Christianity they say Jesus came to end the law, so you don’t have to obey. In Islam, the boundaries are clear — you need to implement them, and if you don’t, the knowledge of them is useless.”

A Richer Understanding of Life and Death

Islam provides a comprehensive understanding of life after death that Christianity lacks. Muslims are encouraged to visit graves, attend funeral prayers, and prepare for the questions the angels will ask in the grave. The Islamic treatment of the deceased — washing the body with respect and returning it to the earth simply wrapped in cloth — reflects a dignity and awareness that this life is merely a preparation for what comes next. For anyone seeking truth with sincerity, Islam offers the answers that the Bible originally pointed toward.
