Muslims are commanded to be just and speak the truth even when it is against their own interests. When a nation does wrong, it must be called out regardless of who is doing it. The real discussion that needs to happen is not about Islam and violence but about the systematic state terrorism that has killed millions while hiding behind the smokescreen of a “War on Terror.” The numbers do not lie, and the conscience of every honest person should demand that this conversation finally takes place.
