Dan Cohen is a Jewish journalist and filmmaker who had his bar mitzvah in Jerusalem, went on Birthright, and then spent three years living in Palestine — including seven months in Gaza. His documentary “Killing Gaza” captures what he witnessed: 13-story towers destroyed by US-made bunker buster missiles, entire neighborhoods flattened, and Israeli snipers shooting peaceful demonstrators one after another. His conclusion is unequivocal: this is not a conflict between two equal peoples but a racist supremacist colonial project that weaponizes Judaism as a human shield.
Seven Months Inside Gaza
Unlike mainstream journalists who attend Israeli military briefings and repeat government talking points, Dan Cohen lived among the Palestinian people as an independent reporter from 2014 to 2017. He watched the mass destruction, the targeting of civilian infrastructure, and the deliberate dehumanization of an entire population. His experience made everything clear: Zionism is not real Judaism, and the claims of self-defense do not hold up when you have seen with your own eyes what is actually happening on the ground.
This is not a conflict between two equal peoples. This is a racist supremacist ideology that weaponizes Judaism as a human shield to advance imperialism. That’s what my journalism aims to show.
The Reaction to Charlie Kirk and PBD Podcast
- Dan Cohen has been looking to debate Ben Shapiro, Piers Morgan, Patrick Bet-David, and others who push atrocity propaganda — none have accepted
- The pilot of Dan’s plane in Israel told him openly: “I want only Jews in Israel” — a form of ethnic cleansing stated without shame
- During his time in Gaza, Palestinian families insisted on feeding him and sharing what little they had — the opposite of the “barbaric” image painted by propaganda
- Israel’s talk of ethnic cleansing of 2.5 million people from Gaza is now openly demanded by Israeli politicians and media figures
A Jewish Voice for Truth and Human Life
Dan Cohen represents a growing movement of Jewish journalists, activists, and ordinary people who refuse to let their identity be weaponized to justify genocide. His offer stands: he will calmly debunk every claim and every lie in any forum, with any number of opponents, because the truth does not need aggression to defend it. All human life is precious — Palestinian and Israeli alike — and the path to protecting everyone starts with honesty about what is actually happening.
I don’t need to be disrespectful or call anybody names. I’ll just calmly debunk the claims and the lies, and we’ll talk about what’s true and how we’re actually going to protect human life — not only Palestinians but Israelis too.
